Dr. Fadia Kiwan holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Paris I , Sorbonne. She was working as a Professor and Honorary Director of the Institute of Political Science from 2002 to 2018. Dr. Kiwan is the founder and director of the Observatory of Public Service and Governance at Saint Joseph University, as well as a visiting professor at several universities in France, Italy, Spain, Egypt, and Tunisia. Dr. Kiwan was a member of the UNU Council from 2007 to 2013 and acted as a researcher and consultant to several international organizations. Dr. Kiwan was also appointed as representative of the President of the Republic of Lebanon to the Permanent Council of la Francophonie 2013- 2017.
