Dr. EL Zein is currently Dean of Scientific Research at the University of Business and Technology (UBT) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and she has 20 years of experience in the field of research, academia and industry. She was a research scientist at KAUST and associate researcher at IEMN, France.
Dr. El Zein is a Grand Judge at Intel ISEF – USA, examiner at KACST. Dr. El Zein is a senior member of IEEE, and a member of
ACS, MRS, SPIE, ECS, IET, AUTM, AAAS, AASBC, ECS, and the Lebanese Engineering Syndicate.
Dr. El Zein graduated from the University of Lille, France with a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology Engineering with High Distinction.
Mr. Organji is an accomplished Saudi brand specialist with 20 years of experience in the field of branding and brand strategy building. He is a TED speaker. Mr. Organji has a proven track record in achieving positive business results by developing a winning brand strategy and its implementation with full branding service for governmental and private sectors as well as NGOs. He is a pioneer brand builder, artist and knowledge transformer with special workshops in over seven countries and 13 cities, author of the first Arabic book series in branding “Eysaam” and pioneer marketing award winner.
He is also an advisory board member at the College of Design & Art (Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University – Riyadh), and Jeddah’s College of Advertising (JCA) at The University of Business and Technology (UBT).
As the founding CEO of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) since 2005 in the UAE, and the founding
CEO of Egyptian Company for Mobile Services (Mobinil) in Egypt from 1998 to 2005, Osman Sultan created during the course of his career several strategies translating into the profound transformations that the telecom and information sectors are now creating in our lives. He is proud to have groomed close to 20 talented individuals who have became CEOs of various operations across many continents.
His visionary leadership and public speaking in the field of telecommunications has ranked him as one of the most powerful worldwide executives in the industry twice on “GTBPower100 List” in 2010 and 2011.
Prof Alim Louis Benabid was appointed professor at Grenoble University and Joseph Fourier University in neurosurgery and biophysics and he has held several positions as a consultant and head of numerous important research laboratories. He discovered the effects mimicking the lesion induced by electrical stimulation at high frequency, which allowed a rebirth of this surgery technique and new therapeutic possibilities. Prof Benabid received a Doctorate Honoris Causa from the University of Galway; from the University of London, from the University of Ontario, Canada, from McGill University, from the University of Porto, from the University of Taiwan, and from the University of Louvain. He has published 523 scientific papers, has given 18 honorary lectures and received 32 medals and prizes.
